INFANT/TODDLER SCHEDULE
INFANT SCHEDULE
Due to an infant's individual schedule, it is difficult to formulate a "Home Base Daily Schedule". My infant program caters to each child's needs. Each child has an individualized plan to which the caregiver, (Michelle) does her best to adhere. Most of the children may have breakfast here or a bottle upon arrival. Their first diaper change also generally occurs within this time frame. The children are changed every 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or as needed. Each child has a diaper change within one hour before scheduled pick up time or as needed. The primary Caregiver will continuously interact with the infants. Feedings, mealtimes, diaper changing helping infants to sleep are all interactions which help to strengthen the bond between a child and his/her caregiver. Other interactions include singing, finger plays, reading sensory play, one on one communication, music and movement, etc. The goal in this environment is to encourage each individual child’s social, emotional, cognitive, fine motor, and gross motor growth by providing each child with the base of a strong bond and secure attachment to their caregiver.
