"Hooked on Learning"

Building your babies brain:

Sharing books/blocks/puzzles together

When you read to your child, their brain cells are turned on and begin to make connections.  As they look at the pictures on a page, block or puzzle and hear the words you are reading, their brain is hard at work.  And if you can talk about how the story is like something in your child's life, that's even better.  Hearing favorite stories over and over also helps strengthen brain connections.

At Learn Thru Play, books blocks and puzzles are introduced as soon as your baby starts.  It's never too early to start playing with books, listening to sounds of the words and stacking picture blocks.  Your baby will have an appreciaton and find books/toys enjoyable and special.
